Really appreciated the instructions on the posting, made it easy to setup. I did find that I needed to rotate the screen to portrait mode due to the way the power was attached to the case - but that is really not the LCD's issue.

This LCD screen is easy to set up following the electronic instructions on the Amazon product page or the paper instructions included with the product (utilizes a GitHub pre-programmed package). Some of the application splash screens stretch beyond the edge of the LCD display, but as far as I can tell, every running application can be resized to fit the 3.5" screen. I'm using this mainly as a viewer for displaying printed Python script statuses without an external monitor or active Putty session, but I could see it being useful for gaming as well. I plan to use it for displaying some industrial control process stats as well (graphical form, using a package like Inductive's Ignition), just as an additional viewing terminal in a plant server room - will be mounting the Pi to a wall. This screen is a very fun addition to the Pi 4, and I'm pleased with how well it works.

This is probably one of the best products that I've bought here on amazon.Documentation: 6 stars out of 5.Design: 6 stars out of 5.Like people say, it works right out of the box. It brings the Raspberry pi to life. All you need is the little computer, take your basic ESD and handling precautions, and everything else you need is included in the kit. Very well made, this is above Cadillac, this is Rolls Royce. Today, I thank the computer G-ds that make such things. Nota bene: one item you might wish to acquire concomitantly with this kit would be a miniature, combo Bluetooth keyboard/mousepad (maybe consider the rechargeable one). That or a virtual keyboard download (I need to look for one myself, too).

The entire package worked perfectly, and the touch screen while small, does exactly what it should. This is not a kit for someone unused to working with specialized drivers on Linux, but if you have some experience working in the guts of Linux it's pretty easy to set up. The only real drawback is that the supplied case doesn't have enough ventilation slots, so you may want to drill a few holes to increase airflow for the 4B.

First of all, the screen is top notch and the fan is already mounted. I don't have to think about where and how. So already a plus for me.The case is well made and comes with a top cover. It's in my picture, but not in the listing. Another huge plus. Lets me remove the screen and have a 100% headless Pi and use the screen on another pi. That said, the fan is attached to the screen. It can be removed, but it's glued, and I don't be doing that. The drivers are also easy to install. They're standard touch screen LCD drivers and work with 3 commands.Brightness is good. Refresh is good. Fan is quiet. Pretty happy with the purchase.

Have had this for a few months now. Only issue is the fan has come loose from the motor shaft, and makes a hellacious noise when first turned on. Other issue I’ve noticed is the fan, plus the enclosure, don’t prove adequate ventilation for cooling.

Been using this a couple days now AND LOVE IT.Came and was exactly what was described. I am a VERY NEW user to raspberry pis and I did everything on the first try with no issues. If after you do the install all you get is a white screen, just wait a few minutes after you power it on and it should load within a minute or two. I absolutely love and recommend this product.

It's not extremely responsive and there is no place to store the stylus but it does what its suppose to. Its super easy to install and they include the necessary code to get it working. Its definitely small and can be difficult to use at times because of its size but no complaints on form or function

Took minutes to assemble and works fine, and the driver was simple to install. My only issue with the included hardware is the fan, which after just a couple of days started making annoying noises. Either my specific fan was defective or it's just a low quality fan that doesn't last long. However it's not a big deal, and for the overall cost of this kit, the quality is great and I am very happy with it.The only way I'd improve this kit is double the resolution of the screen so the Raspbian UI can fit properly on the screen (right now some dialog boxes won't fit and you can't close them because the close button is outside of screen boundaries).

This little display is pretty impressive. Touch functions work great. You can drive your RPi 4 with the little stylus that is included in the kit. I had no issues installing the hardware or adding the drivers using the instructions on the Amazon product page for this little case/display combo. I'll be honest, unless you have a specific project in mind for this, like making a wee-television for LEGO people, or using it for a control box with touch screen for something else I'm not sure what real applications this would fill that you could not do with other devices like tablets. Having said that... it's incredibly fun and the fact that the display supports rotation at the HARDWARE level (meaning mounted physically upside down) you can see the power-on/boot messages correctly is VERY impressive. As you can see from my photo, I have power connected at the top and the display is oriented properly. Simply use the rotate.sh command in the /home/pi/LCD-show directory and it reboots with the orientation you choose and remembers it. Very cool attention to detail in my opinion. This function is specific to this display where you'd normally use a rotate command in your /boot/config.txt file, but doing that does NOT get you rotated text when booting up from power-off. In any event, this seems like a near little device. The RPi runs pretty warm with this screen, even with the fan and heat sinks, so I'd probably say over-clocking your RPi 4 might not be the best idea.
